Jaded, ambitious lawyer Martin Jennison’s life is turned upside-down when his grandmother bequeaths him an LP of a 1960’s sci-fi radio serial called “The Chronicles of Astrimos.” Playing it transports Martin into the vivid “technicolor” world of Astrimos and he soon realizes that the physical jeopardy in Astrimos is real and that his life literally depends on figuring out what’s happening to him and how to escape it before time runs out.
